Jaja Has High Regards For Community Leaders
Ibeju-Lekki Council of Baales has identified Hon. Sesan Olowa, the Chairman Ibeju-Lekki Local Government as a personality that has high regards for community leaders and traditional rulers. They disclosed this during a separate interview in Ibeju-Lekki, that Hon. Olowa Sesan was a potential gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State in the future elections, considering his administrative competence coupled with his exposure in the private sector. Excerpts.

Q: Hon. Olowa has emerged for the second term in office how do you feel with this development?
A: We must continue to appreciate God for giving us a proactive Leader in person of Hon. Sesan Olowa, because if we look at his various projects in the last one year, more importantly in the area of road construction, health, education, environmental sanitation, women empowerment one will come to the conclusion that JAJA is God's chosen for Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
His success story in the last four years cumulated to his victory at the poll for the second term in office and we are confidence that he will do the needful for the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.

Q: Hon. Olowa has emerged for the second term in office, do you see it as a blessing to the people?
A: Hon. Sesan Olowa has been able to rewrite the history of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, he does not discriminate as he is opened to constructive criticism, which is one of the secrets of his administration. He runs an open-door governance and include all community leaders in policy formation and implementation.
The people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government are feeling the pulse of his good governance in the last four years, as pupils were given scholarship in public schools, health care centers were renovated, while additional classrooms were also constructed for public schools among others in the area.
Hon. Olowa has high regards for community leaders and believes in the fact that, he was elected to protect the interest of the electorates.
Baale Emu also spoke on his contributions towards complementing government efforts in nation building by providing succour for his people.

Q: Hon. Olowa has been given the second mandate, what do you have to say to this?
A: In the last four years Hon. Sesan Olowa has reaffirmed his passion for the maximum growth and development of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and his project are visible for the people to see, by providing world class infrastructure that has repositioned the area for foreign investment.
He also took a step further to upgrade our health centers, construct additional blocks of classrooms, put in place new effort towards positioning Ibeju-Lekki on the world map among other projects.

Q: Council elections have come and gone in Lagos State in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, what lessons have we learnt?
A: Electioneering process in a democratic dispensation is a privilege for the people to elect credible leaders that will lead them in the act of good governance.
We thank God in Ibeju-Lekki that we are able to elect competent hands into the Local Government which will enhance good governance for the people.
In the last four years Hon. Sesan Olowa popularly known as Mr. project, was elected as Council Chairman and since then, he was able to undertake critical projects that have enhanced the potentials of the Local Government.
We believe strongly during his second term in office, that he will not be distracted but remain focused on his developmental drives by making Ibeju-Lekki Local Government one of the best in Nigeria and beyond.
We are hopeful he will be able to consolidate on his past achievement in the office and further introduce innovations that will further improve the living standard of the people by constructing markets, roads networks among others.
